Michael于2008加入現(xiàn)已改名為瑞致達的Credence Trust，出任信托服務(wù)執(zhí)行董事。他是一位經(jīng)驗豐富的律師，在新西蘭和海外擁有超過20年的執(zhí)業(yè)經(jīng)驗。Michael的法律工作大部分涉及企業(yè)及信托架構(gòu)，協(xié)助客戶規(guī)劃資產(chǎn)保護、財產(chǎn)與家庭繼承及稅務(wù)事宜。在此之前，Michael在一家主要信托公司擔任董事總經(jīng)理，就在岸和離岸的實體企業(yè)架構(gòu)、信托成立和管理、財產(chǎn)與家庭繼承規(guī)劃、退休基金管理和信托架構(gòu)提供意見。
他在多個在岸和離岸信托管轄區(qū)，包括香港，新加坡，英屬維爾京群島，開曼群島，澤西島，納閩島，新西蘭和薩摩亞，以及不同類型的信托架構(gòu)方面擁有豐富的經(jīng)驗。
Michael持有新西蘭法律學(xué)位，為香港信托人公會執(zhí)行委員會成員及前主席（2015、2016 及2017 年)，以及香港公司律師協(xié)會、香港澳洲商會及英國商會的成員。他亦是香港信托人公會及香港STEP公會聯(lián)合的中國發(fā)展小組委員會前任主席，目前為該小組委員會的成員。
Michael joined Credence Trust, now rebranded as Vistra, in 2008 as Executive Director - Vistra Trust Services. He is a widely experienced lawyer who has successfully practiced both in New Zealand and overseas for more than 20 years. A large part of Michael's legal practice involved corporate and trust structures to assist clients with asset protection, estate and family succession and tax planning. Previously, Michael was the Managing Director of a major trust company providing advice on, and structuring of, both onshore and offshore corporate entities, trust establishment and administration, estate and family succession planning, pension fund administration and trust structuring. He has extensive experience with multiple onshore and offshore trust jurisdictions, including Hong Kong, Singapore, BVI, Cayman, Jersey, Labuan, New Zealand and Samoa, as well as different types of trust structures.
Michael holds a New Zealand law degree, is a current Executive Committee member, and past Chairman (in 2015, 2016 & 2017), of the Hong Kong Trustees' Association, and a member of the Hong Kong Corporate Counsel Association and of both the Australian and British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. He is also a past Chairman, and currently a member, of the China Development Sub-Committee of the Hong Kong Trustees' Association jointly with STEP Hong Kong.
